The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is now accepting applications for the 7th intake (2025) of the Allama Iqbal Scholarships, under the Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Programme. This prestigious program offers fully and partially funded scholarships for Sri Lankan students to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. This initiative aims to award 1,000 scholarships over five years, and already 500+ Sri Lankan students have benefitted from previous intakes—with nearly 100 students currently studying in Pakistan under the 6th intake. The 7th intake opens new opportunities for aspiring students across Sri Lanka.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to assist applicants with accurate information, regular updates, personalized guidance, and clarification sessions — all aimed at making the scholarship journey smoother and more successful. |
This opportunity is open to students from all academic backgrounds, including Arts, Commerce, E-Tech, B-Tech. Whether you’ve studied in the Science stream or not, as long as you meet the required academic criteria, you are eligible to apply. Students selected under the Allama Iqbal Scholarship program are currently pursuing a diverse range of academic disciplines in Pakistan. These include Engineering, Medicine, Allied Health Sciences, Basic and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. The program ensures access to high-quality education across multiple fields, allowing students to gain expertise in their chosen careers while studying at top-ranked universities in Pakistan.
To be eligible, students must have passed GCE A/Ls or an equivalent examination with at least three passes. However, good academic results are essential as selections are made based on academic merit and an aptitude test.
